Klass Kote to Manufacture Scale Colours

Klass Kote have teamed with YT International who are renown for their attention to detail of their outstanding ARTF's - Klass Kote are planning on manufacturing and distrubuting pre-mixed Scale Colours at our factory to be used as "Touch Up" paint for YT International Warbirds or can be used to paint models built from a kit, plan or ARTF or even re-spray an existing model.

Due to Klass Kote's exceptional ability to stick to almost any surface which includes linen, Solartex etc this is really good news for the WW1 enthusiausts.

Due to the wide range of Scale Colours that exist today we have taken a decision to do the colour schemes for the YT International Range of Warbirds which include, RAF, US, German, Japanese etc

The following list is the list of models we will providing the scale colour schemes for:

Our target is to carry stock as of the end of October

We believe this new range will be a major cost saving for YT International and our customers, especially the fact it is 100% fuel proof with no Clear Coat required and do not wish to outlay extra cash to achieve a scale colour by mixing themselves.

As the whole subject of scale colours is a hotly debated issue as such we do not dictate to our customers with the "one size fits all" approach, if you do not agree with our scale colour(s) you still have the option to mix your own or use ours a starting point with some minor tweaking.

In our Paint Store Section you can find the KK Colur Mixing Charts or e-mail us for the most update version and are provided free of charge

Customers also have the option to add the relevant tinting to the our existing Scale Colour range to achieve what it is you they want.

Part A Scale Paints will supplied as standard in 1/4 pint sizes with the option to obtain larger quantities up to a Quart size if needed. But initially the Scale Colours will only be supplied in 1/4 Pint sizes

The Catalyst will be bought separately depending on the finish the customer requires, namely Gloss or Satin or if need be a Flattner Powder which we stock can be added to the Satin Catalyst to achieve a completely Matt Finish.

We have taken advice and guidance from Dave (Mr Scale) Platt and Frank Tiano and use the M&M Scale Colour Chip Book as a reference distributed by Frank Tiano Enterprises asa source for our scale colours.
